Grand Dutch Cafe
Well laid out with a contemporary design, cabins on the ship feel larger than they are. They range from 127-square foot solo cabins (new for the line) to the 1,290 square foot Pinnacle Suite, which features a living and dining room, sound system, and a plunge pool on the balcony. Also new are 32 family oceanview cabins, which can fit a party of five. Starting at 222 square feet, they feature a sofa bed and a pullout bunk bed, along with two bathrooms, so children can have one all to themselves. All cabins have two beds that can be converted into a double (except for the new, dedicated single cabins), a safe, mini-bar and hair dryer.
This enabled the guests to enjoy farm-to-table items from the dinner menu (veggie fare, 5 choices, dessert, cheese plate). The ingredients were displayed in a glass-enclosed garden area and harvested just before being served. The list of microgreens integrated in the recipes included garlic, mustard, licorice. Two lower beds convertible to one queen-size bed—our signature Mariner's Dream™ bed with plush Euro-Top mattresses, premium massage shower heads and a host of amenities are featured in these comfortable staterooms. Amenities include an adults-only area that is an oasis of relaxation and plenty of comfortable lounges and swanky bars.

Dining & Onboard Activities
I booked a guarantee and was assigned a VH category stateroom on Beethoven deck, 4141. Considered a partially obstructed cabin because I could see the top of the lifeboat; I liked the location mid-ship. I liked that this smaller vessel had fewer decks, 12 in all.
A real highlight is the bright and modern main dining room featuring an extraordinary two-storey wine tower, showcasing one of the finest wine collections at sea, and surrounded by magnificent ocean views. All the bathrooms in standard cabins are the same size with the same features, with slate gray tiling on the floor and white laminate on the walls. There is one basin, glass shelves and a trash can underneath. Showers have glass doors; powerful, multi-setting sprays; a footrest for shaving; and three dispensers containing Elemis-brand shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
Spacious sundecks spread over 3 floors (decks 9-10 midship and aft, deck 11 aft) and are fitted with 2 swimming pools and 5 outdoor Jacuzzies (deck 9). The Lido Pool area (midship) is served by Lido Bar (beverages), Gelato (ice cream bar), Dive-In (fka Terrace Grill), New York Delly & Pizza (fast food) and Panorama Bar (beverages). Engage in Holland America's onboard activities, including culinary classes, digital workshops, regional experiences, art galleries, pools, sports courts, duty-free shopping and more. New York Deli & Pizza offers salads, pizza, sandwiches, desserts, fresh fruit, and late-night snacks. Room service is also complimentary and provides a full breakfast.
Since 2023, all HAL ships have pickleball courts (installed on the top deck) operated via an exclusive partnership with PPA-Professional Pickleball Association. HAL also offers complimentary beginner lessons (led by onboard instructors), sells branded pickleball starter kits (at the ship's retail shops) and Play Pickleball tutorial videos are included in the cabin TV programming. BLEND is a glass-enclosed winery room (capacity 10 seats) where are hosted daily wine blending sessions. These are reservations-only events (90 min sessions, $129 cover charge) with sommelier service. There are also restaurants surrounding the atrium, including Le Grand Bistro and beloved Cafe Al Bacio, which serves up gourmet coffee and pastries. We tried two martinis tonight before dinner, including a cream-based white chocolate drink and an apple butterscotch martini. Both were excellent as we listening to the pop music blasting throughout the atrium. American designer Nate Berkus has transformed the space into a terraced, two-deck area heavy on Moroccan and Mediterranean influences. It's a fabulous place to linger, not just at sunset but even during the heat of the day, as there is plenty of shaded seating. For everyone else on board, passengers can pay to play from an impressive lineup of fitness and spa offerings. You can opt to work out in an expanded F Training studio, or try classes that include “bungee fit,” “cardio boxing,” and “pulse barre,” when you are not doing your Peloton workout.
Tips for Sailing on Celebrity Beyond
Every cabin on board Celebrity Beyond is beautifully designed and decorated, and most feature a king-sized bed. The accommodations on this ship are comfortable and classy in equal measure, and will make cruisers feel like they are living in an upscale, big city apartment while at sea. There are interior, oceanview, balcony, and Infinite Veranda staterooms to choose from, representing the widest variety of staterooms in the Celebrity fleet. Instead of a traditional outdoor space for a balcony, an ingenious indoor patio, reminiscent of a sunroom, lies just beyond folding glass doors. With the doors open, the room feels more spacious, though the best part may just be the on-demand outdoor balcony—made possible by opening the floor-to-ceiling window. These six, two-story luxury residences are the first of their kind in the fleet.
Food on Celebrity Beyond: Lots of Choices, Daniel Boulud's Le Voyage is a Winner
Our balcony cabin features a large king bed, large sofa, vanity, closet and infinite veranda balcony. We were surprised by the tech box on the vanity, which houses multiple outlets and includes USB plugs. Celebrity Beyond has a special warmth onboard - something I've never felt before on a cruise ship.
Finally, the best walking/running track at sea takes guests around the ship in a loose, outdoor figure eight path that has two-deck’s worth of elevation. However, that being said, Beyond did offer some family-friendly services that are worth noting. Most useful is their Camp at Sea program which is open every day and offers fun games, outdoor activities, video game tournaments, and slumber parties for children ages 3-17. There are also autism-friendly initiatives for families, including sensory-friendly films and toys, dietary menu options, and autism-friendly training for Camp at Sea employees. In terms of dining, kids can also experience Le Petit Chef, an immersive fusion of entertainment and dining utilizing augmented reality to present a four-course meal. Animated characters appear beside a child’s plate and prepare each course right in front of them before they’re served the actual dish.

Celebrity BEYOND transatlantic cruise: Setting sail - Washington Blade
There’s one bedroom, two bathrooms and space for four cruisers to live, sleep and play comfortably, plus a private plunge pool and direct access to The Retreat’s sundeck. Inside staterooms measure in at between 181 and 202 square feet, and each inside stateroom is sleek and modern, for an upscale, hip hotel feel (the same as you’ll find throughout all the staterooms). Cruisers enjoy more living space than they might in interior cabins on other cruise ships.
Not only does the room feel more spacious than your average cruise room, it was more functional as well. Specialty restaurants on Celebrity Beyond abound, from sushi at Raw on 5 to upscale outdoor at the Rooftop Grill. While the Fine Cut steakhouse has served as a traditional date night splurge, we prefer Eden, which has a new menu from Celebrity's own Cornelius Gallagher centered around seafood and fresh ingredients. The dishes here appear as works of arts, and the cocktails are no slouch either. On Celebrity Beyond, Le Voyage is all white walls and white lights, with tables—many set for an intimate dining experience for two—stylistically separated by white netting.
